Privacy policy
The short version
- We store what you enter — subscriptions, prices, renewal dates — plus basic device, usage and purchase information.
- Sign in with Google gives us your name, email and profile picture, and nothing more — never Gmail, contacts, calendar or Drive.
- We don't sell your personal information, and we don't collect full card numbers or bank credentials.
- You can ask for access, correction or deletion of your data at any time.
Tally helps you track subscriptions, renewal dates, trial periods, prices, payment notes, and related spending information. This policy explains what Tally Subscription Tracker collects and why. It applies to the Tally iOS app and to this website.
1. Information we collect
We may collect:
- Subscription details you enter, such as service names, prices, billing cycles, renewal dates, categories, notes, and payment method labels.
- Account information from the Google account you sign in with, such as your name, email address, profile picture, and user ID.
- App usage information, such as screens viewed, features used, crash reports, diagnostics, and performance data.
- Device information, such as device type, operating system version, app version, and language settings.
- Purchase information related to premium subscriptions, handled by Apple, Google, or another payment provider.
We do not collect full credit card numbers, bank login credentials, or financial account passwords.
2. Signing in with Google
Tally uses Sign in with Google to create and secure your Tally account. When you sign in, Google shares a limited profile with us:
- What we receive. Your name, email address, profile picture, and the account identifier Google assigns you.
- Why we use it. To identify your account when you sign in, to keep your subscription records attached to it, and to sync those records across the devices you sign in on.
- What we never request. Gmail, contacts, calendar, Drive files, photos, or location. Tally requests only basic profile and email access.
We do not use information received from Google APIs to serve advertising, and we do not sell it. Tally's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke Tally's access at any time from your Google account permissions page.
